Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. This dataset was derived from the Gloucester geological model. You can find a link to the parent dataset in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.
The dataset contains the image in PNG form exported from the RMS geological model for the Gloucester Basin. There is a separate image for the legend. The image shows the topography layer which represents the surface elevation from which formation depths were measured. The image was used in ArcGIS to show the surface elevation for the RMS model.
Purpose
Used to visualize the topographic surface used in the Gloucester geologic model.
Dataset History
The data set contains the image in PNG form exported from the RMS model for the Gloucester Basin. There is a separate image for the legend. The image was used in ArcGIS to show the surface elevation for the RMS model.Elevation values were derived from SRTM DEM data (GUID: ca38ed31-e15d-4bb5-a7ef-0aeba3dad3f4) for the Gloucester Basin, then compiled into text files and surfaces built in the RMS model.
The model uses the measured elevations to determine the depths of model layers and formations within the model domain.
