GLO RMS Model Isopachs v01

Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. This dataset was derived from the Gloucester geological model. You can find a link to the parent dataset in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.

The data set contains the image in PNG form exported from the RMS geological model for the Gloucester Basin.There is a separate image for the legend. The image shows the isopachs layer which represents the depth structure for the Gloucester Basin. The image was used in ArcGIS to generate a map that shows the isopachs for the RMS model.

Purpose

Used to visualize the topographic surface used in the Gloucester geologic model.

Dataset History

The data set contains the image in PNG form exported from the RMS model for the Gloucester Basin.There is a separate image for the legend. The image was used in ArcGIS to show the isopachs of formations in the RMS model.Depth values were recorded in the well completion reports (GUID: 0529ae9a-4d40-460d-b52a-fb0e5f646746) for the Gloucester Basin, then compiled into text files and isopachs created in the RMS model.
