The purpose of the statistics reports is to provide information on the status of remnant vegetation for the Swan Coastal Plain bioregion, the Metropolitan, Peel and portion of the Greater Bunbury Region Scheme areas. They are used as one of many considerations in conservation planning, land use planning and when assessing development applications.
The 2024 vegetation statistics reports consist of four files:  

2024 Swan Coastal Plain (SCP) remnant vegetation statistics for the SCP vegetation complexes, vegetation associations within SCP IBRA region, SCP IBRA subregions and statistics for Local Governments that overlap with the reported areas.

2024 Region Schemes vegetation complexes statistics cover the Perth Metropolitan Region, Peel Region Scheme and the SCP portion of the Greater Bunbury Region Scheme. For the Metropolitan and Peel Regions, statistics include reports on Swan Coastal Plain vegetation complexes and the vegetation complexes for the Southwest forested regions of Western Australia.  

2000-2024 SCP vegetation complexes change is an Excel spreadsheet with retention status in the years: 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2024.  

README report provides information on how the statistics were generated, their limitations and guidance on how to use them. PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION PRIOR EXTRACTING/USING THE STATISTICS FROM THE EXCEL TABLES.
