Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

This is an ArcGIS shape file showing location of 61 surface water modelling nodes in the Galilee subregion. Some of these nodes coincide with stream gauge site in the Belyando river basin which is a part of Burdekin river basin.

Purpose

These nodes were selected to estimate the changes in surface water flow due to proposed coal mines in the Galilee subregion.

Dataset History

This is a point shape file and the data set was created using ArcGIS 10.2. Location of nodes were selected downstream of proposed mines in the Galilee subregion. All nodes are on-stream (i.e. no node was selected on the floodplain).
