This layer supersedes Ward Boundaries (LGATE-051) A digital representation of the local government Ward boundaries for the state of Western Australia. Ward boundaries are being progressively added. Not all local governments are divided into wards. Local government councillors are elected to represent either the whole local government or a particular ward. Derived from the Spatial Cadastral Database (SCDB) and based on GDA 94. Updated regularly when amendments/changes are formalised.
