This dataset is a Soil Type and land capability survey of the Teviot Brook area in South East Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Ipswich and Mount Lindesay 1: 100,000 map sheets (9442, 9441) and was completed in 1986. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 100,000 and 20 Soil Types were identified. The study area is approximately 53,610 ha from the proposed dam site near Croftby to the junction of Teviot Brook with the Logan River. Alluvia cover 5,087 ha while the remaining 48,523 ha are low to rolling hills on Walloon Coal Measures and Marburg Formation.
