Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement.
The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
The dataset is the subset of economic and ecological groundwater receptors in the model area where maximum drawdown impact and the time when the maximum drawdown impact occurs are generated by the Galilee groundwater model (GAL_AEM).
Dataset History
A total of 982 points were selected for layer 1. For other layers, the groundwater model provided predictions at locations where economic receptors were registered in companion product 1.4 for the Galilee. In total, 1462 prediction locations are described in the dataset with their corresponding layer numbers.
The csv files from GAL_AEM_dmax_v01 were converted to point feature classes using ArcMap tools for mapping purposes.
The current dataset is an extraction from pre-registered datasets as specified in the dataset lineage. Major actions applied to the extraction include:
-
Clip the economic receptors associated with groundwater using the Galilee groundwater model boundary.
-
Assign the economic receptors derived in step 1 to a specific layer in the groundwater model using the aquifer assignment database compiled in companion product 2.1/2.2.
