Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
This shapefile shows the extent of the alluvial aquifers (including colluvium) within the Richmond River basin in NSW.
Dataset History
The shapefile is based on the digital 1:250000 surface geological map (see lineage) obtained from the Clarence-Moreton SEEBASE project in NSW. The polygons for the alluvium and colluvium were extracted from the NSW surface geology map sheets in ArcGIS and then combined into a new shapefile. Boundaries were dissolved.
