Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
This dataset provides a spatial feature class showing the combined extent of the Lake Galilee Sandstone and the Jericho Formation as defined by Figure 5 and Figure 6 as published by Scott SG, Beeston JW, Carr AF (1995) Galilee Basin. In: Ward CR, Harrington HJ, Mallett CW and Beeston JW (eds) Geology of Australian Coal Basins. Geological Society of Australia - Coal Geology Group. 1: 341-353.
Dataset History
Figure 5 and Figure 6 georectified and hand digitised from Scott SG, Beeston JW, Carr AF (1995) Galilee Basin. In: Ward CR, Harrington HJ, Mallett CW and Beeston JW (eds) Geology of Australian Coal Basins. Geological Society of Australia - Coal Geology Group. 1: 341-353 (Galilee Coal Basins derived from Scott et al, 1995, GUID: 315395b5-b8c8-4ed8-99a5-5b744045125d).
The digitised shapefiles were merged to create a single feature class.
