Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
This dataset is spatial digitisation of The Diamantina River Domain from Figure 4 of Spampinato GPT, Aillieres L, Betts PG and Armit RJ (2015) 'Imaging the basement architecture across the Cork Fault in Queensland using magnetic and gravity data'. Precambrian Research. July. This figure shows a map of the geological domains and major structural features of the southern Mount Isa Terrane and the Thomson Orogen.
Purpose
Map of the geological domains and major structural features of the southern Mount Isa terrane and the Thomson Orogen.
Dataset History
Original image from Figure 4 of Spampinato GPT, Aillieres L, Betts PG and Armit RJ (2015) Imaging the basement architecture across the Cork Fault in Queensland using magnetic and gravity data. Precambrian Research. July.
The image was rectified based on image coordinates and the "ProvinceFullExtent" feauture class from the Australian Geological Provinces, v02 (GUID: 13ad6933-ee80-4c51-a97b-bac1e8bef16d) dataset. The Diamantina River Domain subsequently hand hand digitised.
Geographic Coordinate System used: GCS_GDA_1994
