Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

This dataset contains simple stratigraphic logs (i.e. differentiation of alluvium versus sedimentary bedrock) in .csv format.

Purpose

The data were used in the Clarence-Moreton bioregional assessment to help define the contact between alluvium and bedrock.

Dataset History

The stratigraphic logs were derived from two company reports downloaded from NSW Trade and Investment DIGS database. The bore logs were part of a mineral sand exploration programme in the Richmond river basin.
