Abstract
This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied:
Note from Data Supplier
"GMUs are progressively becoming less relevant in the Office of Water as the Water Sharing Plans progress. I can provide this GW WSP Water source data to you, but note it is a work in progress and will change progressively as new plans are finalised and gazetted. This data also incorporates the "stacking" nature of aquifers by having multiple "levels" (up to 5) of groundwater sources, e.g. Water_Source_1, Water_Source_2 etc. A water source can appear at different levels in different locations. There is a GMU field in the data to give a feel of origin"
Note this data is a dataset from DPI supplied to the Bureau of Meteorology for the NGIS project on Feb 26th, 2015. This dataset is expected to be published In the Bureau of Meteorology's Groundwater Explorer as of March 2015. Note this dataset is a work in progress.
