Abstract
The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
Location (approximate) of coal deposits and coal projects within the Galilee Basin as of Quarter 3, 2013 Calendar year. This dataset was hand digitised from approximate known locations and visual locations (from Central Galilee Basin Exploration and Mining Projects - Q3, 2013, GUID: 3e010e69-f345-4333-abdd-3e6af59792c8) of current coal projects in the Galilee Basin at the time of creation.
Purpose
Provided a spatial point dataset of mine features displayed on the original map, as supplied by the Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines
Dataset History
Hand digitised points were created from approximate known locations and visual locations (from Central Galilee Basin Exploration and Mining Projects - Q3, 2013, GUID: 3e010e69-f345-4333-abdd-3e6af59792c8) of current coal projects in the Galilee Basin at the time of creation.
No georectification of maps was conducted; all digitising was conducted by visual means.
