Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from the Geofabric Surface Cartography v2.1 dataset (GUID: 5342c4ba-f094-4ac5-a65d-071ff5c642bc). The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

This dataset contains an ArcGIS shapefile of selected lakes, from the Geofabric cartography, within the Gippsland Basin bioregion.

Dataset History

Selected lakes within the Gippsland Basin bioregion were manually selected and exported from the Geofabric Surface Cartography v2.1 dataset (GUID: 5342c4ba-f094-4ac5-a65d-071ff5c642bc) within ESRI ArcMap 10.2. Only features which were classified as 'Lake' within the "AHGFFeatureType" attribute were considered for use.
