| Description | Licensed carriers (other than NBN Co) can enter contracts to install infrastructure for project development areas. This might include real estate developments or building redevelopments. When this happens, they must provide the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) with an anticipatory notice. The notices must specify: + the project area. + the type of network infrastructure to be installed. + the likely date of completion. These notices let retail service providers and customers know about new areas that will become nominated service areas. They also identify the SIP for that area once the installation is complete. Copies of anticipatory notices given to the ACMA will be included on [their website in the SIP register](https://www.acma.gov.au/statutory-infrastructure-provider-sip-register/) |
