This Record presents data collected between July 2016 and June 2017 as part of the ongoing Northern Territory Geological Survey–Geoscience Australia (NTGS–GA) SHRIMP geochronology project under the National Collaborative Framework (NCF) agreement. Two new U–Pb SHRIMP zircon geochronological results derived from two samples from the Aileron Province in the Northern Territory are presented herein. A sample of Wabudali Granite (NTGS MT16MVM008) was collected from the walls of an abandoned tungsten working at Singleton Bore/Wilson’s Find, located 2.5 km east of a station track connecting Singleton Bore with Buger Creek Bore on the southernmost extent of Chilla1. At the sample locality, a fractionated evolved phase of the Wabudali Granite hosts veined tungsten mineralisation interpreted to be genetically related to granite emplacement. Concordant zircons from this sample yielded a magmatic crystallisation age of 1586 ± 4 Ma, and inheritance between ca 2384 Ma and ca 1772 Ma. The interpreted ca 1586 Ma magmatic crystallisation age for the Wabudali Granite provides a maximum age for tungsten and copper mineralisation hosted in more evolved pegmatite phases of the Wabudali Granite at the Singleton Bore/Wilson’s Find tungsten prospect. A sample of leucogranite (NTGS TB16MVM004) was collected from a rare exposure at Camel Creek, 100 m west from a track that connects Snake Tank and Junction Bore on Tarlton Downs Station, in south-central Tarlton. Locally, malachite in quartz veins cross-cut the leucogranite; the leucogranite also shows evidence for pervasive hematite and chlorite alteration. Concordant zircons from unaltered leucogranite yielded a magmatic crystallisation age of 1741 ± 12 Ma, and inheritance between ca 3068 Ma and ca 1778 Ma. The interpreted magmatic crystallisation age for this sample is within the range of crystallisation ages (ca 1.76–1.74 Ga) reported for the Mount Tietkens Granite Complex (Kruse et al 2002). The crystallisation age for this sample provides a maximum age constraint for veined copper mineralisation hosted in the sampled granite in the Camel Creek area.
