Multibeam echosounder data collected on Southern Surveyor Transit 03/2007 using the Simrad EM300 multibeam echosounder to acquire high resolution seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information. This transit from Hobart to Fremantle took place 30 April - 9 May 2007. Ping rate varied according to depth. Data are stored in Simrad *.all raw format at CMAR and Geoscience Australia (GA). There are 592 files totalling 2.54 GB of raw data in this dataset. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available). A voyage map, a data processing report and exports in ascii (latitude, longitude and depth) and GSF (Generic Sensor Format) are available per line from the data access link.
