Abstract

The dataset was compiled by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple sources referenced within the dataset and/or metadata. The processes undertaken to compile this dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

The dataset provides the model extent and predicted drawdown for the Namoi Catchment Water Study (SWS, 2012) and Gunnedah Basin Regional Model (CDM Smith, 2014).

Purpose

The purpose of this dataset is to enable a comparison between the model extents and drawdowns predicted by the model developed for BA and previous regional scale models in the Namoi.

Dataset History

The drawdown maps were digitised from figures in the reports by SWS (2012) and CDM Smith (2014).

The model extents were derived from the MODFLOW grids aggregating the cells that are active in any layer and then turning them into a shapefile.
