Regional Long-Term Cycle Network (LTCN) (DOT-036)

Created 23/06/2025

Updated 23/01/2026

The Regional Long-Term Cycling Network (RLTCN) is the aspirational active transport (cycling and walking) network for regional areas in WA. The dataset is used by DTMI for strategic planning. Each route has an assigned function (primary, secondary, local, transport trail or road cycling route). The network is aspirational and contains both existing and unbuilt routes. There is no guarantee or timing on if/when unbuilt routes may be constructed. The routes are developed as part of the 11 Regional Cycling Strategies for WA with involvement from local governments.
