Conodonts from Waterhouse Range, central Australia

The small series of conodonts herein described was found in the crushings of a hard brownish to yellowish calcareous shale from the South Gorge, Waterhouse Range, Central Australia, 40 miles south-west of Alice Springs. The collection of fossiliferous rocks was made by Dr. C.T. Madigan, on behalf of the Commonwealth Oil Refineries Ltd. and many of the specimens were sent to the writer for micro-palaeontological examination.
