The Torres Strait Prawn Fishery (TSPF) handbook (2011) provides an update on the status of the fishery and recent developments. A detailed background and history of the TSPF can be obtained from the TSPF strategic assessment, previous TSPF handbooks and the Torres Strait Protected Zone Joint Authority (PZJA) annual report. The summary information in the handbook is intended only to provide a guide to arrangements in the TSPF and does not replace legislation, legislative instruments or detailed advice specific to individual circumstances.
