This record describes the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected from the Marine National Facility RV Investigator voyage IN2020_V08, titled: "SOLACE - Southern Ocean Large Areal Carbon Export: quantifying carbon sequestration in subpolar and polar waters." The voyage took place between December 4, 2020 and January 15, 2021 departing from Hobart (TAS) and arriving in Hobart. Data was collected during IN2020_V08 for the duration of the voyage excluding short periods of time for GSM data collection, during Silent-R testing and whilst leaving port. Data was collected using UHDAS and post-processed using CODAS. Both the RDI Ocean Surveyor 150kHz ADCP and the RDI Ocean Surveyor 75kHz ADCP were run in narrowband. Internal triggering was used. The drop keel was flush with the gondola when acquisition commenced, lowered to 1.25m below the waterline for 2 hours and lowered to 2m below the waterline for the remainder of the voyage. This dataset was processed and then archived within the CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere (O&A) Information and Data Centre (IDC) in Hobart.
