Quantifying the isotopic composition of oxygen and carbon through time in the core GC04, located off the coast of New Caledonia

Created 23/06/2025

Updated 23/06/2025

Core GC04 was collected from the southeastern side of the New Caledonian Basin. In relation to isotopic composition there appears to be a correlation between 13C and 18O measurements. The results also highlight a definite change in average 13C at isotopic stage 5e.
