The 2025-26 Budget, including related papers such as the Portfolio Additional Estimates Statements (PAES), is officially available at http://www.budget.gov.au.
The PAES inform Parliament of changes to the proposed allocation of resources since the 2025-26 Budget.
The PAES, annual Appropriation Bills (No.3 and 4) and Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Bill (No.2) are tabled in Parliament usually in February each year. The annual Appropriation Bills require that the Portfolio Budget Statements and PAES be taken into account when interpreting the appropriated items in the Schedules.
Only those entities that are seeking additional funding through Appropriation Bills (Nos.3 and 4) and Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Bill (No.2) are generally required to produce a PAES chapter. The PAES incorporate measures announced since the 2025-26 Budget.
The data provided has been made available to assist those who wish to analyse the financial information published in the PAES.
Note: DVA are tabling out-of-session which means their data has been excluded from the dataset provided at the moment. A further update will follow on data.gov.au once tabling is complete.
