This dataset contains the underway data collected during the Polar Bird Voyage 4 2001-02. This voyage went to Davis and Prydz Bay, leaving from and returning to Hobart. Underway (meteorological) data are available online via the Australian Antarctic Division Data Centre web page (or via the Related URL section). For further information, see the Marine Science Support Data Quality Report at the Related URL section. This voyage was beset in ice off Davis for approximately a month.
