Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd were commissioned by City of Moreton Bay (CMB) to undertake an investigation hydrographic survey of the Pacific Harbour Canal estate and a portion of the adjacent Pumicestone Passage. The survey data is used by CMB to inform future maintenance dredging campaigns of the  canal system, specifically with regard to the design of areas to be dredged, dredging methodologies and quantities. The investigation survey data is also used for the refinement and long term planning of siltation rates and patterns in the canal system. Data was collected to MSQ ‘Class A’ Standard for the canal system and to ‘Class C’ Standard for Pumicestone Passage. It is noted that Vertical Datum for the survey plans is Australian Height Datum (AHD) (Note: at Pacific Harbour Canal, 0.0m LAT = -1.1m AHD). The survey data should not be used for Navigation purposes.
