Created 18/12/2025

Updated 18/12/2025

The Blue Mountains Waterway Health Explorer allows you to discover water quality and aquatic macroinvertebrate data visualisations from Blue Mountains City Council’s Waterway Health Monitoring Programs, some of which have been running since 1998. The Explorer presents data from council’s three core monitoring programs: ecological waterway health, recreational water quality, and freshwater crayfish surveys. It also shows how this data can be applied to inform waterway management.
