IMSA - Kimberley Marine Offloading Facility - Benthic Infauna Survey

Created 23/06/2025

Updated 23/06/2025

This report presents a summary of results for benthic infauna and sediment samples collected near the Port of Broome and in Roebuck Bay. The results investigate the spatial distribution of sediments and corresponding composition of infauna, and assess associations between benthic infauna and migratory shorebird abundance and diversity, to assist in characterising the significance of the proposed Project development envelope as foraging habitat for migratory shorebird populations.
