'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Solander Trip 6155.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 6155 from 18 Feb 2015 through to 21 Feb 2015, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21.
