Geological Fault Lineations Christmas Island

Created 23/06/2025

Updated 23/06/2025

This dataset relates to the supposed fault/fracture lines which has been digitised from the 1:27400 geology map of Christmas Island created by J. Barrie in 1966. Geoscience Australia used ArcInfo to digitise a scanned version of the map and project it. The map was then populated with attributes according to the Geoscience Australia data dictionary guidelines. The attributes capture all the information that was supplied on the original map. Disclaimer
