Beer Clearance Summary Data
The ATO introduced a new Excise processing system in weeks 7 and 8 of 2023-24 which impacted the processing of Excise returns. Excise returns received during this period were processed in later weeks. Please note that some of the tariff numbers changed slightly with the October 2023 data update.
Week 50 is significantly higher as multiple returns were amended.
The CPI for this quarter was published on 28 January 2026, indexation day is 2 February 2026. The CPI indexation factor for rates from 2 February 2026 is 1.019.
