This record is an overview entry for biological data collected on Southern Surveyor cruise SS 03/93. This cruise took place in waters off southern Tasmania during 7-22 April 1993, under the leadership of Brian Griffiths. Biological data collected on this cruise include samples of demersal fish, midwater nekton and zooplankton to determine the vertical distribution and diurnal movements of these three groups, and samples for trophic analyses. Acoustic data for biomass estimates. Oceanographic samples to determine the vertical and horizontal distribution of biological properties of the water column.
