The data that was collected for this thesis includes thermoluminescent dates, topographic surveys using a Sokkia total station, mapped stratigraphic changes sourced from the use of ground-penetrating radar (GPR), LiDAR, vegetation analyses, contemporary analogue comparison and bruun model testing, across five transects at Bengello Beach, NSW. The data was collected between 2007 and 2010. The date range of the beach ridge plain was to approximately 6000 cal BP. The data was used to identify periods of erosion and assess changes in sea level and wave climate throughout the late Holocene.
