Cross shelf distribution and abundance of larval fishes around the Montebello Islands in northern Western Australia

Light traps were drifted at approximately 10 kilometre intervals along four 50 km transects located in the nearshore, offshore, and north and south of the Montebello Islands. 365 samples of fish and zooplankton were taken and fish identified to species level. Sampling was done in August and September of 1993.
