Partner with Parks Australia to build on earlier survey work undertaken by AIMS, CSIRO and Reef Life Survey in the area around Carpentaria Shoal in the West Cape York Commonwealth Marine Park. Fish and benthic community surveys (BRUVs and Towvid) will be conducted at Carpentaria Shoal the nearby Merkara Shoal and a small, raised feature surrounded by pockmarks located between these two shoals. Additional multibeam mapping is to be conducted at the latter two features to supplement existing bathymetric data.
