This record one in a series of reports detailing the geochemical and mineralogical results of sampling collected at mine waste sites across Australia as part of Geoscience Australia's Resourcing Australia’s Prosperity Initiative. It presents new data and information on zirconium, thorium, uranium, chromium and rare earth elements at the former uranium and rare earth treatment plants located in at Port Pirie, South Australia. 

Resourcing Australia’s Prosperity is the Australian Government’s 35-year, $3.4 billion precompetitive geoscience initiative, led by Geoscience Australia, to accelerate the discovery and development of critical minerals and other resources, to support Australia’s net zero transition and enable responsible management of all resources.
