This is a companion document to the data dictionary documents for web services delivering data from Geoscience Australia’s (GA) science databases. This document contains the vocabularies of terms used in attribute data in the web services, based on look up tables in GA’s relational databases. GA is endeavouring to have as many as possible of the controlled terms in its science databases based on externally published vocabularies. Those look up tables in this document that are not currently an externally published vocabulary may in time be moved to an external vocabulary service.
