This software repository contains the R code used for data analysis in a manuscript published in Communications Earth & Environment. It includes an R script and the source data used to generate visualisations. The code are written in RStudio, an open-source integrated development environment for the R programming language. All the packages used for the analysis are openly available. This study was conducted in Tasmania, Australia and aimed to explore: the views of stakeholders on ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE), a marine-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR); and the knowledge priorities of stakeholders. This collection comprises three datasets. The first dataset captures stakeholders' knowledge priorities about OAE to make an informed opinion about the technology. The second dataset presents the preliminary views of stakeholders regarding OAE. The third dataset contains the institutional affiliations of the research participants. To protect participant confidentiality, only de-identified data necessary to reproduce visualisations are provided. The script generates three figures: Figure 3 presents stakeholders' views on OAE; Figure 4 outlines the knowledge priorities of stakeholders; and Figure 5 illustrates how these knowledge priorities are distributed across different stakeholder categories.
