The Drainage Connections data set is a series of vectors or lines depicting the connections provided for a property to the drainage network. This may be an underground pipe or to a kerb in the roadway. This data set shows the connection from the boundary of the property to the reticulation network pipe or node, or a short line showing where a connection point exists on a network pipe. Where the connection outlets to a kerb the line work shows the branch from the property boundary to that kerb. The attribututes associated with this data set are: OBJECTID, Type_Description and Shape__Length. This data set is available in stand alone form, however it has been compiled to be used in conjunction with the drainage network dataset. This data set has been captured and maintained in the same manner as the drainage network. The initial data source was the originating Detail Plan series. The data is held in a feature class within the Corporate ArcSDE geodatabase: DRAINAGE_Branches
