EPC1146 OBEN PARK CONSOLIDATED PARTIAL RELINQUISHMENT REPORT FOR PERIOD ENDING 13 MAY 2024

URL: https://geoscience.data.qld.gov.au/dataset/cr147286 Previous exploration on the current tenement area includes 93 holes drilled from 2005 to 2007 on conditionally surrendered EPCs 782 and 1081, and 4 holes drilled in 2014. One scout hole was planned to be drilled this year, but this has been deferred due to prioritizing other tenements within the Pioneer Project EPC 667 & 722, which contain significant coal and are a natural extension of the core Fitzroy assets of Carborough Downs, Ironbark No.1 and Broadlea mines. The desktop studies on the potential for shallow coals of the Moranbah Coal Measures on the western flank of the tenement have been conducted. A modest exploration program is being developed to test these assumptions and will be completed during the next tenure term. The planned drone survey over historic Vale exploration holes will be conducted with the planned exploration.
