Megafossils from two bores in the Ponds Creek area

The material, which has been submitted by geologists of the Bureau of Mineral Resources working in the Hunter Valley, N.S.W., consists of cores from two bores in the Ponds Creek area - Ponds Creek No. 14 (T) and another bore the labels of which were burnt in the fire of April, 1953. The samples consist of grey siltstones with occasional pebbles and few fossils.
