However, these assemblages may not be as diverse as those recorded from caves and more developed karstic areas in other parts of Barrow Island. Baseline surveys for subterranean fauna will continue on Barrow Island until construction of the proposed Development commences. The results of subsequent sampling, concluded prior to construction, will be published separately.
