                <gco:CharacterString>This record is an overview entry for biological data collected on Soela cruise SO 1/81. This cruise took place in waters off the New South Wales coast during 23 March - 16 April 1981, under the leadership of S. Brandt. Biological data collected on this cruise include EK 50 acoustic data. Geographic and depth distribution data on midwater and demersal fish including samples from 158 trawls. Data from diel sampling of midwater and demersal fish. Zooplankton samples from hydrology stations. Trawl comparison data from four days of trawling and acoustics. Please note: This metadata record is a preliminary entry derived from information in the cruise plan and/or cruise report.
