The LIST Shellfish Harvest Area Boundaries dataset is not intended to supersede or replace any lease area or marine farming zone boundaries designated in Marine Farming Development Plans, or otherwise by the Aquaculture Branch of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. 
The LIST ShellMAP Harvest Area Boundaries dataset is provided for convenience of reference only. The boundaries described are indicative of the areas which are classified as either conditionally approved or restricted, for the taking of regulated fish. 
The LIST ShellMAP Harvest Area Boundaries is intended to be a spatial reference only. It does depict legal status of harvest areas. For information relating to harvest area status or coordinates of boundary corners, please contact ShellMAP.</gco:CharacterString>
