Land resource areas - Central Highlands - CHL

This dataset is a Land Resource Area map of the Central Highlands in the parts of the Burdekin and Fitzroy, Central Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Clermont, Emerald, Galilee, Jericho and Springsure 1:250,000 scale map sheets and was completed in 1993. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 500,000 and 26 Land Resource Areas were identified. A field manual accompanies this dataset and contains a summary of the region`s soil and land characteristics appropriate to management and recommendations for their use.
