This dataset is a Land Resource Area map of the Moreton region in South East Queensland. The mapping covers parts of the Brisbane, Gympie, Ipswich, Tweed Heads and Warwick 1: 250,000 scale map sheets and was completed in 1996. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 250,000 and 15 Land Resource Areas were identified with 26 associated Soil Profile Classes. The Land Management Manual which accompanies this data is a collection of currently available land resource data, combined with local knowledge and experience, primarily concerning soils and their management.
