It also shows sites where EPA has determined that a UPSS was in use before 31 March 2010 but has not been in use since that time, and is considered an 'abandoned UPSS' under the UPSS Regulations. Where an active UPSS is indicated, the potential for a decommissioned or abandoned UPSS to also be at the same site is not precluded. The layer does not necessarily represent all UPSS in Tasmania. It shows only those systems where notification has been provided as required under the UPSS Regulations. The spatial location for each site is represented by a single point, which has been selected to best represent the location of the regulated activity (UPSS). In most cases this has been derived from information provided by the person registering and has not been verified by EPA Tasmania. The point indicated does not necessarily represent the exact location of the UPSS. There may be multiple UPSS at each site, represented by a single point. Data is updated intermittently by EPA Tasmania. Please check the revision date in this metadata record to determine the date of the last update.
