Metadata was not provided and has been compiled by the Bioregional Assessment Programme based on the known details at the time of acquisition. The New South Wales Office of Water (NOW) provides to the Bureau of Meteorology a copy of their hydstra surface water database. The last extract was received in February 2012. Data was extracted from the Hydstra format to .csv files for surface water sites within the Gwydir River Basin.
