                <gco:CharacterString>This digital data is a draft land management classification of the coastal reserves as depicted on the 1:25,000 hardcopy map sheets. The classification is based on a continuum which measures levels of naturalness and  human use. There are five classifications being, Natural 1, Natural 2, Recreational, Visitor Services, and Special Use. The classifications are based on assessing available special values information and  land use information including natural resources, cultural resources and current land usage.  The intention of the classification is to provide a basis for more informed and focussed land management rather than provide a guide to recreational activities available in any particular area.</gco:CharacterString>
