This data has been used to describe responses of bird species, functional groups and community composition to time since fire (Gosper et al. 2019a,b). Bird surveys used the 20 minute-2ha method, recording abundance, and are reported on an individual survey basis. Data collection was funded by BirdLife Australia, The Nature Conservancy, the Thomas Foundation, CSIRO Land and Water and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
